Lionel Barnard

Teacher Lionel Barnard, with former students in Singapore: “You find success breeds success. Once our students saw what was possible, then things just took care of themselves”. Or, to coin a phrase he used at Farnham, “Good, wonderful, must be my marvellous teaching!”

Thanks to roving reporter Tom Stephens we can report on Lionel Barnard's (History, Economics) retirement after 32 years teaching in one of Singapore's most prestigious schools.
