Here we report further on the celebrations marking the 40th birthday of Farnham College. The main event took place on the evening of 30 April 2014, and some further information is posted on our news page.
The celebrations started at 5.15pm with the ceremonial planting of a red oak tree in the grounds. This was followed at 5.45pm with the burial of a time capsule, filled with specially chosen artefacts, adjacent to the steps leading down from the old building. A reception was then held in the “Performance Studio” (ie the hall). A number of displays had been set up around the studio, and there were tours of the building hosted by current students.
This page includes a gallery of photos and some movie clips of the event.
